McCormick Interiors is an interior design firm. The owner is a creative professional with a strong personal style, so the goal was a landing page that let visitors get a feel for her work and her taste right away.

I worked on this one with a partner at Little Monster. We started with a rough site map and a few different wireframes. My favorite used patterns and transparencies to build layers that mimic her taste. Above everything else, her photos needed the most room on screen they could get.

The WordPress build had a press section for the magazines that featured her work, like Traditional Home, House Beautiful, and Santa Barbara Magazine, and it carried over her blog archive going back to 2011.

It went live in early 2015 and stayed up for about three years.
